Before each use of the spraying equipment, inspect the paint hose—damage, kinks, or rough handling of the hose can all lead to leaks. A leaking paint hose may even cause paint to spray into the skin. Under no circumstances should you use a spray gun that lacks a trigger safety, has its trigger safety disabled, or fails to function properly as intended.
When operating high-pressure spraying equipment, it is essential to understand how to handle these machines safely and reliably. The high-pressure paint flow generated by the spraying system can penetrate skin and subcutaneous tissues, leading to severe injuries, accidents, and even amputation in some cases. Therefore, operators must never treat spray wounds as ordinary cuts or abrasions! If a spray injury results in tissue damage that could lead to amputation, seek immediate medical attention at a healthcare facility.
Therefore, when operating the spraying equipment, be sure not to point the spray gun at any other parts of the human body, and avoid allowing any other body parts to come into contact with the liquid flow. The human body must never touch the liquid stream caused by pipe leaks, and gloves alone cannot reliably prevent spray-related injuries. During spraying, it is essential to properly install and maintain the nozzle protection and maintenance equipment. While this equipment provides some level of protection against spray-related hazards, it essentially serves as a warning device. Before flushing or cleaning the system, always remember to remove the nozzle first.
